MapWise is the latest CD-ROM product to be released by Isys. The Hillwalker Series has grown to five programs since the introduction of The Munros in 1996. The interactive guides contain walks, logs, routes, pronunciations, a quiz, panoramas, photographs and Harvey Maps; all the information required by the hillwalker.
All RAF Mountain Rescue Teams and Search and Rescue Helicopters use Isys Hillwalker products.
Last year all Hillwalker Products were released at version 4, making the year the most significant ever for outdoor software. The devastation of foot and mouth prevented the widespread advertising of these products. With launch of MapWise, we hope to draw attention not only to
MapWise but to the whole Hillwalker Series. MapWise can run on its own or be fully integrated with any of the Hillwalker programs. All Isys products will integrate to from an encyclopedia of the British hills.
