You are required to find these things in order to beat the game. They're scattered all over and you need different items in order to get some of them.

In no order
/\Truth/\-Tallon Overworld in the Artifact Temple, branches off from the Landing Site
Behind the blocked door by the waterfall, you will find it on a platform.
/\Strength/\-Magmoor Caverns in the Warrior Shrine, branches off from the Monitor Station
Extend the bridge from the top of the research station. Its on the other side.
/\Elder/\-Phendrana Drifts in Control Tower, branches from the Observatory.
One of the towers in this room ice on it. Melt it and shoot the explosives to make the tower fall. The Artifact is there.
/\Wild/\-Chozo Ruins in the Sun Chamber, branches from Sun Tower.
Defeat the Chozo Ghosts and the Artifact will appear.
/\Lifegiver/\- Chozo Ruins in the Tower Chamber, branches off from Ruined Shrine.
Jump into the water and go through the open door to find the Artifact.
/\Warrior/\- Phazon Mines in the Elite Research room.
Blow up the container with the Metroid in it and defeat it to make the Artifact appear.
/\Chozo/\- Tallon Overworld in the Life Grove.
Jump into the water and blow the drain up to reveal a spinner that will make the Artifact appear.
/\Nature/\- Magmoor Caverns in the Lava Lake room.
Blow up the pillar in the centre of the room in the right spot to reveal the Artifact. Use the X-ray visor.
/\Sun/\- Phendrana Drifts in the Chozo Ice Temple, branches off from Phendrana Shorelines.
Nuke the ice in the hands of the Chozo statute and go through the tunnle to the Artifact.
/\World/\-Chozo Ruins in the Hall of Elders.
Blast the red circle with the Plasma beam to reveal a Morph Ball Slot. Rotate the course to the right spot to get the Artifact.
/\Sprit/\- Phendrana Drifts in the Storage Cave, branches off from Phendrana's edge.
From the top of Phendrana's edge drop the transparent platform and Power Bomb it.
/\Newborn/\- Phazon Mines in the Phazon Mining Tunnel.
Bomb the rock blocking the path to the Artifact.
