Recommended Signings
Man U have loads of money and a big squad. But if you want to win the league, improvements will be needed to certain positions.
Frank Rost – Schalke 3.9m. This guy is good but old. Play him in goal.
Charles Itandje – Lens 750k. Very young goalie. Put him in the reserves until Rost is 35.
William Gallas – Chelsea 6.2m. Great defender. Must sign him quickly as other clubs will be in for him too. Offer about 3.5m first and Chelsea should ask for a slightly higher price. If you are successful you will get him cheaper than his actual value. Play him in left-back in place of Heinze.
Jamie Carragher – Liverpool 2.6m. Good and cheap. Put him in right-back in placeof Neville. Neville is good but he is getting older. Best to replace him straight away.
Christoph Metzelder – Borrusia Dortmund 6.5m. Brilliant, young and expensive. Great defender, put him in for O’Shea in CB.
Vincent Kompany – Anderlecht 2.6m This lad is fantastic at the back but use him as cover to your defenders. He is good all over the defence despite being only a CB.
Javier Mascherano – River Plate 3.3m. Is a great prospect. Put him straight in for Keane. Keane isn’t as good as he was and it is best to replace him immediately.
Antonio Cassano – Roma 9m. Get him on a 2 month loan. Then play him in place of Smith. When Rooney returns he will go back to Roma so he is simply a replacement while Rooney is injured.
Recommended Sellings
Gabriel Heinze – Only sell him if you sign Gallas. He will bring in round about 9m.
Gary Neville – He’s getting older now and if you sign Carragher then he will not be needed. He can bring at least 8m.
Mikael Silvestre – Can’t break into the team without any new signings. If Kompany is signed he will have even less chacnce of playing. Sell him for about 8.5m.
Louis Saha. You may have to wait until January to sell him as he won’t sign until he returns to full fitness. When he does he will brig up to 13m.
John O’Shea – If you sign all four defenders that I recommnede then he will have little chance of playing. So loan him out for experience.
Liam Miller – Loan him out as well. I would say to loan out Fletcher as well but Fletcher is needed to cover Ronaldo.
Replacements
When you’re a few seasons into the game some players will be getting older and not performing as well. So on the left the players. On the right the replacement.
Frank Rost (if you sign him) – Charles Itandje. Brilliant goalie and very young. If you’ve already signed him then it’s simply a strsight swap. Wait until Rost is 35 before playing in Itandje.
Ryan Giggs – Aiden McGeady. Leave McGeady at Celtic for a couple of years until Giggs start under performing, at around about 34-35. Then sign McGeady and put him in.
Paul Scholes – Diego/Kaka. Both brilliant CFs. It’s up to you who to sign. Kaka will be more expensive but he is probably better.
Another few years and some more players will be reaching their prime. So some more replacements:
Ruud Van Nistlerooy – Fernando Torres. Torres us very expensive at the start and hi price will rise. I would advise you to sgn him after the first sign season then loan him out for the next 5 years or so. When Van Nistlerooy hits 33 put in Torres
Jamie Carragher – Kolo Toure. Again wait until Carragher hits 32-33ish before putting in Toure.
Reserves
Man United 23 reserves but 8 of those are out onloan. In your reserves you’ve got experience with Ricardo and Solskjaer and prospect with Richardson and Pique. Rossi si also vry talented. Another few players though to make your reserves bigger:
Issa Cissokho – CB. Good and young.
Jure Primorac – CB. Good player but it may be hard to get a work permit for him.
Rati Aleksidze – LW. Decent winger.
Adam Skumanwitz – CM. 24 but a strong player.
Tressor Moreno – ST. A decent striker.Will challenge Solskjaer and Rossi to play up front.
Under 19s
Man United have33 youth players and only one is out on loan. Zieler is a great goalie. There are some other prospects in your youth. Some decent signings for your youth are:

Allesio Cerci
Candeloro Assenzio
Anthony Vanden Borre
Daniell Soddimo
Ivan Castiglia
Diego Capel
Francesco Della Rocca
If you sign Carlos loan out Zieler and loan out some other players too. You don’t 20 odd player left to rot.
Staff
Staff are very important. You want an Assistant Manager with good coaching ability, tactics and Man Management. For coches you want your main one to be the same as the Assistant. You then want someone good at coaching youth and goalies. For scouts there are only 3 main abilities needed. Scouting on Potential, Scouting on Ability and Determination are those 3. Physios want 100% Physiotherapy and good determination and motivating. The higher the rep the better, but when signing coaches the unproven ones are the best to sign as there are plenty of brilliant ones and they only want small wages. Man United are a huge team and can easily snap up the best coaches. So sign these coaches:

Hans Segers
Steve Rowley
Colin Lewin
Gary Lewin
Alan Shearer (if you sign him he will become a free agent for the football part)
