You can get a lightsaber by first going to swkotor.ini and put EnableCheats=1, then press ` whilst in gameplay. type in "giveitem g_w_lghtsbr01" (without the marks) and you will have a lightsaber.

Note1: try different numbers for different colours.

Note2: you cannot use it unless you have "Weapon Proficiency: Lightsaber".
