Hint: Use enemy's weapons:
When you have taken a gun or wrench out of a random thug's hands, they will say something like "Hey, give that back". After they have said this, run over to the weapon. Spider-Man should pick it up. This does not happen often, but when it does press X to hit or shoot the enemy with it. The weapon will disappear after that mission.
