Manufacturers Description
Everything you love about Dancing Stage is back and better. There are great versus modes offline, but online with Xbox Live is extra special.
In addition to downloading new music tracks, new characters and challenge modes, you can create your own dance routines and exchange them with friends across Xbox Live.
If you've worked yourself into some sort of dance fury, you might be just about ready to test your toes in an online Dance Off - where you'll be one of 8-16 players competing for a place in the DSU2 Hall of Fame! Better yet, you'll be Dancing Off against guys in the US as well as Europe.
Three, all-new Xbox Live-dedicated modes are yours to limber up with. Bomb Mode rattles your bones if you can't hit the beat on time - a bomb is passed between you and your rival, too many mistakes and sayonara eyebrows! Versus Doubles makes you compete using only double steps against online or offline friends. Attack Mode transforms your best moves into energy that boosts your Step Zone while zapping your rival's to make it harder for them to hit the beats.
And if all this isn't fun or challenging enough for discerning Dancing Stage maniacs, we give you Party mode: a series of sub-games that include the incredible Quad mode - dancing across four mats simultaneously! Feel safer dancing as a team? Try Sync mode, in which four players attempt to complete a track as a group. Be careful though, if only one person makes a mistake the whole group suffers (just like back in school!).
Over 35 tracks make up the playlist for DSU2, 14 of which are licensed from famous artists. Songs that you just can't get out of your head, you soon won't be able to shake out of your feet: 'Where's your head at', Basement Jaxx; 'Love Machine', Girls Aloud; 'Step On', Happy Mondays, and 'Alright' by Supergrass to name only a few irresistible 'chunes'.
