EverQuest II will offer gamers a new experience in massively multi-player online role-playing games (MMORPGs) and sets new standards in graphical realism as players are immersed in the game's powerful epic story line with thousands of players online. Based 500 years after the original EverQuest, EverQuest II is a new and different game experience in a world marred by a fantastic life-changing event. Players enter this world by creating their own unique character from 16 races and 48 classes and using a powerful facial customisation system for unprecedented player individuality. EverQuest II is set in the world of Norrath, which revisits familiar locales as well as introduces a number of newly discovered areas. There will be unparalleled character customisation capabilities. A new addition is that players will be able to own real estate such as apartments, homes and guild houses and even control ships.
