The Thrustmaster Fighting Arena PS2 is the first interactive accessory for fighting and boxing games on PS one, PlayStation and PlayStation 2. It is made up of two parts - the fully responsive mat and the 4 sets of infrared sensors. The mat features start and select buttons, 4 directional functions for player movements, and 4 diagonal functions for specific player movements. The mat also comes complete with L1, L2, R1, and R2 buttons so players are able to do all the complex moves they could with a gamepad.

The Fighting Arena PS2 offers four sets of sensors for the ultimate in realistic punching and kicking actions. Break the infrared beam and your on-screen character reacts in real time! Each beam represents a button on any PlayStation compatible controller.
