Sony's officially licensed Formula One game includes all the teams, drivers and tracks of the Formula One World Championship. The Quick Race and Grand Prix modes cater for both newcomers and experienced gamers; in addition, players have a choice of Single Race, a full Race Weekend or to participate in the entire World Championship. There's exclusive commentary from Murray Walker and tons of detail, including full 17-man pit-crews, track marshals, and individual cockpits. Driving aids allow players to tailor the realism of the game to their liking--ABS brakes, anti-wheelspin and steer/brake assist can all be switched on or off during play, without leaving the action on the track. Life-like driver AI based upon 30+ different parameters compiled by F1 professionals brings the grid alive and introduces rivalry, aggression, experience and determination. A vast array of breakable car parts and an extensive set of potential car failures affect car performance and handling. Other features include a new Time Attack mode for up to 16 players, and the ability to save your game mid-race.
