It was like dumping a girlfriend because you found a different one you liked better. Only it's three full grown men your dumping. It's an awkward situation.
Hopefully Mercury Project finds a drummer or goes back to way way it used to be. We used to get together 4-5 times a year to play party's. Practice 2-3 times in a week & go play live. It's been fun but...
It hasn't gone anywhere else.

I thought I posted this already, must've been in another thread, that gig wasn't happening. The bartender who set it up didn't clear it with the management & we essentially got screwed. No biggie in the long run, well be playing out a lot starting in late January when were all back after Christmas family visits.
I'm in northern Massachusetts now at my sisters & there's over two feet of snow on the ground. It's a frigging winter wonderland. I'll be back in California on January 4th & thew band will be back in the groove. The new news is I'm in two bands now. Solaren & the new one is a punk/pop band called Kicked in.
Lots of practice nights a week but it's fun.
