These are 2 great young Englishman with promising futures. What is your opinion on them? Should they be in the England squad, or do you not reckon they are good enough?

IMO they are both great young players with great prospect. There has been loads of controversy over Bentley, but he is a great player. He should be in the England squad, whilst Young maybe in a couple of years.

Young is the perfect left winger that England have been looking for. Don't get me wrong, Cole is good. But he is a natural right footer, who always cuts inside, and rarely crosses with his left foot (for England anyway). But Young is a natural left winger, great dribbling, great crosser, perfet winger. Give him a couple of years to mature and he could be our new star.

Bentley is even better still. He is pacy, skillful, great touch, dribbling, crossing, etc. Rated by Phil Thompson as the "new David Beckham". (Maybe because they have the same initials ) I saw his goals against Newcastle, and they were fantastic. Definitely what we need in a winger. Should be challenging SWP for that spot o nthe right.

These are 2 of very few Englishman playing first team for a PL side.

I also think we're missing a trick with Gabriel Agbonlahor not starting for the senior team. He will become an excellent player.

I'm beginning to lose my patience with Joe Cole in an England shirt. I'd even prefer Downing at this point in time.

*shudders*

Perhaps you're on to a winner with Young then!

Young pretty much had Sagna in his pocket at the weekend, a mean feat considering he's an Arsenal player.

Get him in. Would like to see Lennon over Bentley though, people seem to have forgotten all about the Tottenham midget.

I know Lennon well, another one of our great youth products. He has great pace, great ball control, very tricky to tackle, but his one flaw which is very important for wingers is crossing. I watched him against Birmingham and Aalborg, and his crossing was poor. But for all I know he is a lot better and just had 2 off games (in terms of crossing).
