Problems with NDS screen
Post: #1 - 31 Jan 2008 13:57
Hi, i'm new to the forums and i need some advice.
I have the big chunky DS and i put some DS lite screen protectors on the bottom screen and when i took them off i think it did some damage.
There's a little bit that just doesn't respond when touched. Do i need to replace the LCD or the Touch screen part or both?
any advice would be brilliant.

If the touch features aren't working, but the screen is displaying without any problems, it's the touch-sensitive area that's the problem. It's probably best to save up for a NDS lite, as their screens are more durable and of a better quality. (let alone the other features i could brag on about.)

The same thing happened to me. Thre bottom left hand of my touch screen dosen't respond (due to an incident involving a compass and animal crossing), which means i have to calibrate the touch screen specially when i need to use it, but luckily i don't need to use it that much. I don't see any point in buying a new DS as much as i want one cos i'm skint.
