Going Abroad
Post: #1 - 07 Feb 2008 21:29
The premiership might have 39 games not a bad idea more football downside it could be played abroad
i personally dont think its a good idea tehy seem to have forgotten about the Real fans
and it for attracting big support away from The Uk but npo offence to these clubs but how will Birmingham and wigan in a match attract much support abroad
anybody actually hink this is a good idea??

The idea is totally not to ask fans to travel abroad to see games, it's to attract a new audience to the Premier League.
Until this, I thought there were some decent chairmen in the league. But they've all clearly proved they couldn't give a s*** about the team, so long as it makes money.

One word pretty much sums this travesty up - greed.
Never thought I'd say this after some of his previous comments but I'm fully behind Platini on this one. It also seems that there's one important thing being forgotten by those who are supporting this joke... the fans. Without them there'd be no clubs for crying out loud(!). Players and managers alike whinge about exhaustion from playing x amount of games in x amount of weeks, surely adding another game onto the fixtures list will only worsen the situation?!?
Reminds me of the Budweiser advert aired a few years back tbh.
