I'm currently playing:
I resently broke my pink ds (the first 1). I am upset and I am wondering if you can repear the 2 little twisters (between the top screan and touch screan). I am going to get a case to replace the hole shell, do you think it will do the job? thankyou

Take it a local independant (that bit's important) electronics store and see if they can repair it for you. Ask them how much they want and then tell them that a shop nearby (if there are any) will do it cheaper than that (don't go nuts, take a few quid off the price).
These shops will do anything to get your custom and will, usually, do a top notch job to entice you to come back if you have future problems.

I would imagine so, as long as none of the electronics are damaged. But as I said, it'd be best to get someone with the necessary expertise to take a look for you.

My Dad will sort it cos my dad is ace at mending stuff and the shell has arrived today. I will warn him though.
