Can anyone help, when playing Formula One 06 on the PS2 the car always drifts to the left, is this a setting or am I having problems with my controller?

I'm currently playing:
I had a similiar problem on my ps2 controller. The analog kept moving my guy to the left or somewhere. I had to get a new controller. Sorry.

There should be a way to reset the analogue sticks. You can sometimes find it in the "Controller Settings" of game manuals.
