I'm currently playing:
when i try and start the game it says i need a page file of 2gb. what does this mean and how can i increase the size of mine as mines only 1.2gb

What're your specs?
try this:
goto start/settings/control panel/system/advanced/performance/settings/advanced/virtual memory/change and adjust the maximum size to 2000 or slightly more (it should tell you the minimum allowed underneath where it says total page filing)
