We believe that allowing the use of the following commands in CoD4 (and many other commands) ruins the multiplayer experience of Call of Duty 4, and as such should be fixed immediately.

AND MANY MANY MORE EXPLOITABLE COMMANDS!

You can gain advantages such as:

- see over walls and behind you.
- 24/7 real time radar, with red dots showing on compass, even on Hardcore servers.
- See through smoke (some servers).
- Laser dots (like single player demo level, on some servers)
There are many more!!

The commands in the link work on servers WITHOUT CHEATS ENABLED.
I have also seen this work in the PAM mod and can be used in many leagues!!
Please sign - and pressure IW into fixing this crazy exploit!
Once the top command is entered, the following commands ARE NOT CHEAT PROTECTED!

Thanks to a few users on this:

A few community members have recently discovered a new CoD4 exploit, this exploit works on all previous patches of the game... this will need to be fixed for patch 1.7.

What does the exploit do?
Basically allows players to turn sv_cheats on, it will be set on for them only, but then they can use any cheat protected dvar.

The only way to prevent this is by adding this line to your pb server config file: (pbsv.cfg found in CoD4/pb folder)


Code:
pb_sv_cvar sv_cheats IN 0 Then restart your server, and you would be protected from this exploit.

I won't post how to do the exploit, because there are SO MANY servers that this exploit will work on, and having sv_cheats set to 0 in your server config does NOT prevent it, it needs to be in your PB config

TBH, why would you make it so that the game allows cheats? It seems ridiculus to me. Ive been playing matches and for all I know, loads could have been using them.

Oh, and as far as I know, its PC only but could effect the consoles somehow.
