Nah, I think more raved about Driv3r when it was announced. There was constant hype about it, it was everywhere. Only for it to turn out crap.
Anyway, never owned the first one, not having a 360. However, should I get one, GoW and GoW2 will be first and second on my list, as I played GoW on a friends 360 and found it very impressive.

Meh. Pre-order it on Shopto and you'd a) Get it cheaper than Zavvi and b) Get it before it's official release.

gears 1 is awesome. sure it has horrid things like host advantage, stupidly overpowered shotgun, glitching, etc but dude it's addictive as f*ck. as for the single player i thought there wasn't enough variety of challenge. but still good.

If the story actually makes sense this time and they don't change things dramatically, then this could well turn out to be one of the all time classics.

hyped games are usually poor
assassins creed was gonna be the best game ever out for ps3 and xbox 360
i only found it half decent
