Fifa 09 First Impressions!

Ok so normally I am a pro evo man but this year after playing both demos i felt that fifa finally got one up on pro. Mainly due to he movement.

The game has been out for a while now so what are you first impressions on the game. I am actually rather suprised at a few players, Theo Walcott for one, he is immensely fast and I can't believe how easy it is with him. The passing has majorly improved from 08 too. Especially the through balls, now that appears to be the main tactic to winning a game online.

How ever I must admit I am majorly annoyed at Man Utd. I can't believe how good their team are, majorly over rated. When it comes to playing someone online, if they choose United I can not win. I can have all the possession in the world but the speed that team can counter on is insane.

But apart from Man Utd, I'm very much in the belief that this is the best fifa for a long time. I just hope Pro starts to up it's game now.

torres is immense on the game he can do anything lol

yeah the only thing people do when online is be united
give the ball to ronaldo
get in the box
knock it to rooney/teves
to score the open goal kinda thingy
has been the same on the last two fifas
which is why i always leave when they pick united cuz its just sucky lol

Ahhh my friends are the same, scared that fifa has finally caught up with pro. I'm quite happy, should give the game creators a boost to improve.

And about the online business. It is so frustrating. Today i was chelsea and I must have hit the post 6 or 7 times >.<. I lost 4-1 in the end. Stupid counter attacking Man Utd. It really grinds my gears.

PES sucks man.. it does big time

i have ALWAYS preferred FIFA and fifa 09 i believe is better than 08

i mean wen i choose bristol city, im amazed at how tough i can be lol - in fifa 08 i'd be struggling to get a goal

Played it a couple of times around a friend's house.

Has anyone else been or played against Inter Milan yet? If not, then wait until you come up against Ibrahimovic, he can literally walk through the back four and slam one past the keeper. Friend's a United fan so naturally chose them as his team, add to that the fact that he's played the game non-stop since he got it (I'd played it once or twice) and I hammered him, Zlatan played a role in every goal I scored. I kid you not, the guy's unplayable.
