Be a team in Championship or lower. I started off in League 2 and worked my way up. I gained about 1500 a match and have a very good squad. I am now 3 season in with Huddersfield in Championship and we're 2nd on Pro gaining 200-2500 per match.

I learned the hard way by starting in the top division in the EPL. Started out fine then relized that i could not keep up and was loosing alot of money rather than gaining. So i scrapped that game and started with Sheffield United in the Championship league. I got the best sponser i could get note look for per game pay and bonus pays - do the math and see which ones have the highest payoff but for bonus u must win contests and titles. I started Manger 1 with semi decent sponsor and started to sell off surplus players and buying others. My younger players i loaned off. Loaning u do not loose the play for good u just no longer have to pay his per game wages. I fiddled with combinations and bought some high caliber players. Start if u can with goal keeper in the 90+ range that way u do not need to spend so much energy on that aspect in the beginning. I found that the 3 4 3 worked for me the best. After the first year i got promoted and won two cups went to rank of manager to 3. My overall goal was to win all titles before moving to different region and league - thus to unlock all the stuff in fan shop. I just started my third season last night. I went from 3 star team to 5 star (4.5 depending on who is on the fields) team and my manager rank is now a 6. I have 99 % approval with job and fan rating of 99% and team chem is now 88%. My player moral is really high since i keep a small team of core players with some reserves and loan my surplus players off and i can balance the team and bring in the cash. My player base is about 5,000 game and sponsor is about 5,100 game so i bring in about 100 on away games and almost 2000 at home games. I upgraded my sponser each year. Each year and the highter your manager rating is the better cash u can bring in for the team. I build my current team for three years and then i plan to move on.

Try staring as Celtic, they have a low salary and high sponsorship so you'll hvae no problems. You should win the SPL no bother, and you are then poised for the ECC. After this you'll be atleast a four star manager and can try the switch to the EPL.
If you have problems financially simply loan out players you don't use, loan out youth to make them better

as a suggestion prefer teams with level 10 stadiums... from the starting teams, borussia dortmund is the one and only which has a level 10 stadium...
tsv 1860 munich has a level 8 and newcastle a level 7...
the more leveled more you earn in home games...
donīt you forget to lower the players salaries to earn more money...

Hi,
Remember that you need to have a good manager level to manage any of the 'big' name clubs.

Start off with a good 3 star championship team like Wolves (Best team forever!), and your first few games are easy, I got Milwall, Brighton and Cardiff City. If you play well, Your players stats will go up no end, and you'll be left with a cheap, 4 star team (well, I was).
You should easily win the leauge, and get far in both the cups, then in the Premiership, your manager rating should be 4, so you can start brining in the talent ( so long as you picked a good per game sponsor), I got D.Martyn, F.Ljunberg and Edcgar Davids in the first transfer when the transfer window first opened.

Yeah, but you then get sacked if you don't have a manager level of at least 6 or 7

No matter how well you do either, I have tried it.

HEY, i have a little "cheat" kind of for this. Before you start manager mode. Go to the "team edit" or something like that. Then go to any 5star team and re-arrange their players and put rubbish people in the first 11 so that it is the worst possible line-up e.g dont include the best players.
Then when you go to manager mode it is not a 5 star team anympore so you can choose it. Then simply put the best players back in to place and ta-daaa, you get a 5 star team in ur first season!
Hope ive helped.

hey im new to this forum but i think i can help,
i went MAN UTD , an instantly i found i was loosing more money than i was earning so this is what i did
1) Dont buy any 1 in the first season ( save up your money )
2) Sell all the players you can
3) Try to renegotiate players contracts ( can get most players in a top 5 prem team down to 300-350 )
4) Once youve done those , use the money thats lefts to upgrade your statium
after doing that i now earn 2500 a game AND i have a world class team ( all more or less 98

)

I didn't want to start with a five star team, so me being from the U.S. started a manager mode with the Metrostars(now RedBulls) of the MLS. Their stadium manager is a level 8 and I turn a good profit, even on away games. I tried to sell all the players i could, but then the injury bug hit. I lost my five best goal scorers, the best being an 84. I also lost ante razov. So then I had to forfeit a couple of matches, which eventually put me in debt. I have now come back from injuries and are number 1 in standings with onr game before the playoffs. But my job security is only 31 even with 99 fan support. After i lost a recent game, i was given an ultimatum. Win or else. Am i going to get sacked even though i am making a profit and i am first in the standings.
