Why the DS kills the PSP

Alot of people seem to be giving the DS a hard time, either bitching at the graphics, or the uglyness of the system. But Nintendo's president Satoru Iwata believes that good ideas are better than good graphics, and to an extent I do have to agree with what he has to say. To back this up Wario Ware : Touched! is the perfect example, although the game it a little short, and the graphics are 16bit standard the good ideas more that make up for graphics. The graphics may not be as good, but surely that is reflected within the price at £99 it is affordable for most, and thats why it has broke the UK console sales record shifting 87,000 DS's within the first two days. This beats the previous record which was the Gamecube selling 69,000 in the first week, followed by the xbox at 52,000 in the first week and then the PS2 only shifting 46,000. I do believe Nintendo's weakness and where the PSP could breakthough is the titles, with Nintendo only having two good games at the time of launch (Wario, and Mario) and the next bunch coming out in early April. Nintendo lacks alot of 3rd party support, although this would help, Nintendo would survive better than any other company without 3rd party support, Nintendos games are orginal, and to the best quiality (Mario, Zelda, Star Fox, Metriod). Onto the PSP, now the graphics are good, which again reflects the £180 price tag! Along with your 180 notes, you will need a game, which are £10/£20 more expensive than the DS's titles.And then a large memory stick to take advantage of the systems media player, which will take you in excess of over £250 which is to much for any handheld console. Nintendo's known for its quaility and customer satisfaction, where as Sony has one thing on its mind £££, profit. The PSP is made cheaply and is being retailed at high prices which is why there are so many faulty PSP's around 0.6% of PSP have seen a defective square button, which isn't responsive as the other buttons. Now another common fault that happens in all TFT screen is the dead pixels. Now Nintendo will fix a dead pixel for you free of charge, Sony will only fix them for you if you have 4 or more within 1cm square, and it will cost you. Despite the lack of ability to spell, I agree with him! Its true, at least Ninty are trying to be innovative and do things that havent been tried before. What technology present in the PSP hasnt been tried somewhere before?

True the ds has more functions and what not but the ds is easyily broken. in this day in age we should not have to play 16 bit games. the touch screen is over rated, its just annother thing to be messing around with. the games on the ds arnt that great but look at the titles that the psp has, gt3,gta,soccom and more. what does the ds have. MARIO, some fat italian plumber that has a strange relationship with a woman twice the size of him, i rest my case.

Then the ds should be SHSWAG = should have stuck with a gameboy (as more games currently to released for the gba in next six months) and what pockets do you have as the psp is slighly longer than the ds but slightly thinner so same problems for size really.
