Hey people im currently playing on fifa 2006. I get lots of free kicks and when i take them they either go over the bar or i lightly tap them. Does anyone now how to take a proper free kick?

I know! its so hard, but the thing to do is stop it exactly halfway into the blue area.

I'm currently playing:
I read somewhere that when you have a direct free kick from the centre you should hit it hard, low and in the corner, although I have yet to try it.

put your jostick right down so the screen moves down a bit then if the free-kick is on the right move it a bit to the left or vice-verse then as the other guy said get it excatly in the middle of dat coloured bit and it will always be on target 86% you will score

if you are playing on amatuer or semi pro you can score simply by hitting it low straight into the post near the keepes

If you hold in the back L button then aim the ball through the wall the other team makes (that may mean lowering your aim a bit) and just shoot as hard as you want and if you get through the wall of players you will score deffinetly 100%!!!
