I'm currently playing:

World of Warcraft (PC)

Halo 3 Collectors Edition (Xbox 360)

Gears of War (Xbox 360)

WWE SmackDown vs RAW 2007 (Xbox 360)

It's gonna be a big seller whoever supports it. Hopefully, they'll be making the general public aware of the wii and not relying on ninty fanboys to boost sales.

If you ask me, the big wigs at MS and Sony keep voicing their support for the Wii because

-They seriously misunderestimate its potential in the market
-They think it poses no real threat or competition to their own consoles
-They believe that if someone gets a Wii as a second console, they are less likely to get their "main" rival's as a 3rd

But, ya know, either way... Wii should be a fun console

YuGiOh Forbidden Memories (PS1)

Mass Effect (Xbox 360)

Assassins Creed (Xbox 360)

Call of Duty 4 (Xbox 360)

Halo 3 (Xbox 360)

Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo they are all 3 BIG companys they no what there doing sale wise if you think about it... There aware of all the downfalls and oppisitions then face and who will out sell who if you think about it...

The only two consoles for me are #1 Sony PS3 and #2 Wii.

I was converted from getting a PS3 to getting a wii because i want a more interactive approach to games, i mean yea the PS3 will be amazing but i have had the playstion and the playstation 2 for about a decade and want to see what nintendo have to offer with this awsome looking console. plus i think the sword and shooting games look cool.

As to why you should buy the Wii over the PS3... well... It's all personal preference, really. I would suggest looking at some videos of the games and see which system has more games you're interested in.
