For me it has to be the Seleucids they just have an amazing mix of units From the silver shield pikemen which destroy cavalry, to the silver shield legionaries Every bit as good as the romans, then there are the ultimate cavalry in the cataphracts and finally the most destroctive unit in the game when used right, the armored elephants, this faction has a good starting position, hard to get a lot of units going to start with as there are low populations in their areas but take a few areas from egypt and you will soon be spreading over the map with alarming speed, once you are on a bit in the game this faction becomes unstopable.

yeah wotever by far the greeks are the best. all spread out very rich and have very elite units at their disposal

Coe off it, all they have really are pikemen, just send a few units of pikemen even ones not as good as them at them then flank them with some cavalry and they do not stand a chance. Though I do like their Spartan Hoplites they are amazing.

i have to say the seluecids are my favourite as well, the cataphracts are unreal! but what faction do you think is the weakest?

weakest would prob be one of the unplayable ones like the numidians. although I have managed to do quite well with them by attacking the carthaginians and spanish quickly even then though money gets to be an issue when trying to take out the egyptians.

any faction with a decent Cavaly destroys the Romans. first draw any cavalry they have away from their full army and hit them on all sides and wipe them out or rout them before their main army reaches you then just send cavalry to attack their main army from the back and sides once they clash with draw again and have some cavaly to attack from the front too without cavalry to protect them they are easily outmanouvered, small cavalry forces can take out huge roman armys.

I'm currently playing:
Any army have thier flaws and weakness to me i doubt have a fave army. I like Carthage tho my opionen is biased because Hannibal was amazing =oP.
They look awesome too and have gud holding and flankin troops, everything u need.
But i also love the Egyptian Pharoh's Bowmen, as i love archers and they are some of the best. I haven't found any which can outshoot them. Maybe Cretan archers but never had them as a created unit only mercanaries.

It would deffo be the senate, but, we can't be them... =( I think Gaul are pretty wicked, as with Germany but Ithink my vote goes to Greece. Or Egypt. Anyway my agme keeps on crashing now soes I can't paly it anymore...

Ive gotta agree the britons r rubbish and they r so isolated. I tried to play them out of patriotism but i got fed up of either the Gauls or Germanics breaking thier alliances an slaughtering me!!!
