Yup, thats right people. You can actually download HL2:EP1 right now if you so wish, and you dont have to pay a penny. What you cant do though is play the damn thing <_<

Mine is sitting on my PC waiting to be played. Is anyone else gonna be getting it...?

What's the point in that? So you don't have to install the game when you buy it?

No no, the idea is you dont actually go out and buy the game at all. You pay Valve the $20 on the interweb and they then let you "unlock" the preloaded info. Its all tied in with your steam account. If you then went and bought a new PC, you could just download it all again, and because your steam ID already has Ep1 linked to it, you can just unlock again straight away.

Sorry if I confused you at all there, steam isnt exactly simple...
