best players to buy??
Post: #1 - 30 May 2006 10:14
i really need some good players to buy.im on my first season with newcastle united and im 12 points clear at the top but the thing is all my good players are wanting to leave.this is my starting 11:
GK-Given Level-91
RB-Carr Level-80
RCB-Boumsong Level-83
LCB-Fahrenhorst Level-83
LB-Babayaro Level-78
RM-Dyer Level-87
RCM-Parker Level-85
LCM-Emre Level-86
LM-Luque Level-91
RS-Owen Level-95
LS-Van Nistelrooy Level-95
as you can see without my top 3 players i wont really make it anywhere.van nistelrooy and owen wont renew their contracts and luque's moral is all the way down at 17 for some strange reason.also my biggest weakness is my defence, especially my LB and RB.carr and babayaro have both played all the 33 games so far and their level hasnt increased at all,if anything its decreased.if it wasnt for given i would of conceded the most in the league probably.i just bought fahrenhorst and he is ok,i mean he isnt anything special, nothing like nesta or terry.none of my back 4 look like they will improve and if they do ill be amazed.please tell me the best players to buy for upfront and defence...actually just anywhere.please i need help.my teams fallin apart.if you do help then thanks a lot i really appreaciate it.

Get carlos alberto, he plays in brazil and is quite cheap, i got him as a replacement for ronaldinho at barca and he got to rating 96

Well, for a right back, if you want a playor to chip and work and manouvre, in right back, I'd put Luke Young (Fulham)plus he's an international. If he hasn't retired I'd put Silvestre (ManU) in left back, he doesn't mind a slightly lower salary than usual. Again, a player to build on, get Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Juve) up front, he can play with a partner or solo, likewise Phillipo Inzaghi (AC Milan). If you be needing a free kick taker, go for Lampard, or if you need someone cheap, Nicky Butt (Birmingham). Oh yes one more thing, if Given goes get Victor Valdes (Barca), he's cheap, but he's good.

cheap solutions
rwm: cicinho (sao paulo)
cdm: de rossi (roma)
cm: lampard, joe cole (chelsea)
cam: messi (barcelona), dŽalessandro (wolfsburg)
forwards
john (fulham, he improves a lot, during the years)
dagoberto (paranaense), nilmar (corinthians)
if you start a manager mode in your first year, in your first trade line, try to buy sergio ramos e saviola from sevilla, they are really cheap and they improve a lot
