I used to love the old amiga versions so I was really looking forward to this game.
So far i've only played the PC demo, thought it was awful, very slow and sluggish.
Is it worth a purchase on the PS2??

I'm currently playing:
Ping Pong passing and banana shots from the half way line? I'd say it's fantastic!

I bought this for the same reason - I was a big, BIG fan of the old Amiga versions, particularly Sensible World of Soccer. I saw the new version for PS2 in my local Tesco for £19.97 and sneaked it into my basket when the missus wasn't looking. She spotted it but just rolled her eyes and tutted.
I got it home and was instantly disappointed. I can't put my finger on it, but it just didn't...FEEL right. Worst thing about it has to be the fact that the keeper sometimes gathers up the ball despite the fact that he's NOWHERE near it! The ball could be flying toward the top corner and all of a sudden it just appears in his hands. Bizarre.
I must have played about twenty tournaments before I decided to bung it on Ebay. Even the multiplayer mode is a tad lame! It's a shame, because I really had high hopes for this.
