Okay to answer your first question, If you start at the clock tower go past the hospital, virtue chem, Library to the country cafe. The cliffs are right next to the door. If you havent gotten that far then they may be blocked.
As for the second one i have no idea. Sorry!

thanks for backin me up GhettoBandit. By the way, kfmc, i used to have this game but then i sold it. but if memory serves, the science place should be the lab where you sell the stuff you find on the floor. Or you could just use the map (if there is one).
