For us little guys/ new starters of this great pokemon game.
Heres mine:
Combusken "Flamer" lvl 21
Taillow "Divebomb" lvl 21
Sableye "Shadow" lvl20
Ralts "Gar" lvl 21
Lotad "Osiris" ( it's second form)lvl 20
Electrike "Electro" lvl21

I'm currently playing:
Personally I think it's good. Nyah 
I've never used a lotad or it's evos, so I can't comment. The rest seem ok. Are you going to change any of them as you go along.
Unfortunately Tailow isn't the best flying pkmn, as it's normal part type, losing it's fighting resistance, which is it's main strength.

I'm currently playing:
good team for the beginning of the game but later you might find more powerful and might wanna change to them.
I have a good team to go agaisnt the one Battle Fronteir person inside that giant snake (awesome! i like snakes!)
Aggron - teach it iron tail and shuckle will be no problem and earthquake to clear away and chance of Seviper getting you down
Ampharos - to take care of milotic with an electric attack
Blaziken (or another pokemon of your choice just make sure you have the other two)

but any rock or electric attack kills it instantly cause of such low defense/Special defense

i suggest you find another psychic pokemon other than that giraffe pokemon, and get your wailmer up to level 40 to get a wailord.

Elektratosh's team is actually incredibly similar to mine actually. I just restarted Emerald so I could get loads of pkmn for d/p.

i lost my pokemon games in Utah at my uncles house... so sad cause i had done so good at Battle Fronteir with the best combinations i had raised...
