So who wants some?! Also, can someone explain why HL2 crashes back to Desktop at every checkpoint where the game loads. It runs fine apart from those loading points where it "encounters a problem", it's annoying, mebbe need a patch?

Got it from GAME for liek, £20. Seriously, why does it keep crashing? I'm assuming it's because my graphics card is teh gai? But why does it play fine for a short while and then crash? And is CS: S always this laggy?

Its your graphics card this happens to me all the time with PC games, i can play GTA 3 for a short period of time and then boom it crashes and i can errors and lag on it... Also it depends of your CPU speed and RAM (512mb or more recommended) you need at least probaly 2.00 GHz or something to run something like half life and counter-strike... Also depends on what CPU you have... if you have a Celeron then good luck in been able to play thr game for more than 15 minutes or so... Also depends on what pentium processor you have pentium processor 4 is the best to have and the obvious... Windows XP...

when ever i try to load up HL2 or CS
it goes to the loading screen and resets my computer.
And my computer is definately good enough for the game so its not the computers fault.

It must be my gfx card. My processor's 2.53ghz, i'm running xp on an intel celeron and i have 768mb RAM. My gfx card's a sh!tty SiS onboard one though, so i probably needs to upgrade. I can't understand how it can work fine for a bit and then suddenly crash, doesn't make sense.

ololol thats kind of scary your specs are nearly identical to mine mr. Gaz... I got a similar gfx card to you, i have 768mb RAM and a intel celeron processor... I think its just the celerons not good with games but yeah my gfx card is crap too just about manages GTA...
