Points for posting Cheats

From today we are changing the way that points are allocated to cheats. We will no longer accept hundreds (sometimes thousands) of cheats for the same game.

The reason for this change is because it has a negative effect on the site. If a game has this many cheats the cheat page becomes unreadable and very un-user friendly. Splitting cheats onto multiple pages would not improved the sitution, the only solution is to combine such cheats into one.

An example of this would be a game with 100 levels which has a password for each level. Under the old system the code for each level could be added with 4 points awarded for each one. In the future all 100 codes would have to be posted as one cheat.

New guidelines for cheat submissions will be posted on the site tomorrow morning and we will be back-tracking all current cheats over the next few days. You may notice that your score actually goes down as adjustments are made.

We hope that users will understand the reason for these changes and realise that it is for the good of site to maintain usability.

Even though the points will all change (dramatically, probably), this is a good idea. Trying to find out different things was inconvenient to say the least.

I should be alright, i have submitted less cheats for more games rather than more cheats for less games.

Probably lose a share though.
