I'm currently playing:
i cant find the mechanic skill, which i need to break in to alfreds room for the blue prints, its getting quite boring. I know its normally in the alcove of the managers suite, but its not been there for a while. please someone save me from this boredom torture.

My guess is that it'll be slightly different on the DS version, but on the PC version you just have to read a book.

It's definately different then. On the PC version you just read it, you don't actually see the inside of the book.

There is a calander of the skill point times and places on this website in the cheats for Sims 2 DS. They only appear for 8 hours each week, but when you've got it, it never comes back to the same place. I hope I helped!
