Steven Gerrard had his operation over the road from me in the Yorkshire clinic

One of the football development coaches who I was... well coached by last season in college is currently plying his trade with newly promoted SPL side Hamilton Academical.
Chris Swailes is his name, I have no idea whether or not he's actually on the game though. Shame to see him leave like as he was a brilliant coach but fair play to him, I certainly wouldn't turn down the chance to play professional football at the age of nearly 38.
I've also got a cousin that's on the books for Marine AFC. Cracking player with one hell of a right foot, he's had Everton, Liverpool, and United scouts actually come to school and inquire about when he was next going to be playing a game. He was offered a place at Oldham but turned it down as he wanted to concentrate on his school work. John Hurley's the name, watch out for him in a couple of years time.

On FM 08 I know Callum Butcher plays for Tottenham U18's.
He is their U18 captain in real life. I went to the same school as him, didn't speak much though. He is a real prospect for the future. Best player I have ever played with that's for sure.
My dad also new some west ham couach. Cant remember the name, think he was like one of the higher authority coaches though.
