To have a baby, take two Sims who love each other at 100 social level and are married into the bathroom and kiss. This might take 4 or 5 kisses but it will happen. A little box will appear and ask you if you want to have a baby. Then it will tell you if it is a boy or girl. Pick a name. Since it is in its crib, it is a piece of furniture. Make sure no one is attending the baby and then move it in to the parent's room. This way you can hear it. The baby will cry at around 2.00 AM and the time you had it each day. In about 5-6 game days, the baby will turn to a child. The looks of this child are totally random.
