Where in the castle is the ? box?

when you beat the first bowser i think... There is a light in the entrance hall. with Mario look up to the source of the light. Then triple jump to fly and land on the centre island then ground pound to activate the ??s. i hope i helped.

dose not work for me ?? i hav 47 stars and defeted the first browser and unlocked luigi
does it open all of the ?s in levels

I am not for sure exactly when you are able to access the castle secret, but you have to have Mario unlocked for sure. When you have Mario unlocked you play as him and right when you get through the front door to the castle (when you are standing on the design on the floor) there will be a light shining on the ground and you choose the look up option that is in the bottom right hand side of the touch screen and then you look up, you may need to turn just a little bit while looking up because you have to look directly at the light and then you will be transported to the sky. You will be on a tower and there will be a big red button in the middle of the small enclosed tower top. All you need to do is jump on it and then all of the ? will be unlocked for every level. After you jump on the red button then you can access the ? box right there on the tower and then you will have wings and you can get the 8 red coins that are floating in the air for a star. I cant really remember, but i have an itching feeling he is in that hall that you have to catch the rabbit in on SM64. I think it is the door in the far right of the stairs. the hall where "lethal lava land" is... (been forever scince i played, lol)

I think they are in the "!" boxes, or the "?" boxes. how u unlock them, i dont know, though...
