Freakin' Demons! Help!
Post: #1 - 11 Jun 2005 00:32
I'm stuck at what I think is the gate to hell, these two baddass demons come out and just stomp me, I've put multiple rockets into chests, a full belt out of the gattling-like-gun, they don't even slow down, am I supposed to run around them? I'm happily frustrated (this game is more eye candy and spook house fun than challenging) for the 1st time by this game.

got em'! I never picked up the BFG so I had to do it with the rockets, duck shoot run repeat. brutal fight, loads of fun. I was nicely rewarded by a trip to hell.

I'm fighting the guardian in hell, it's a good battle. Finally found a BFG hidden by the gate to the guardian woo-hoo!
are you gonna go through in nightmare mode?
I love the way the game throws harmless but scary things at you like a halloween haunted house. I guess thats what the "directed by" job is, awesome job that guy did.

Heh go paddy! Have Doom3 on the PC, but I think I got bored of it a while back due to some other game. Anyhoo, I know my dad has been playing this (funny as arse watching him- refuses to learn how to sidestep, still looks uncomfortable using the keyboard and the mouse, and he has to look down when changing weps!

Too much Duke3D methinks...) Last thing I knew he was in Hell. Rather strange looking place really, dont fancy it for a holiday. BFG doesnt appeal to me as much as it could have done- my favourite remains the one in Quake II. THAT was one hell of a big fuc... fragging gun!

I've got quake II on the n64 but haven't played more than a few levels as I'm now spoiled by Digi graphics. Your dads doing really well for someone who wont sidestep! hat's off to the Elder-Noz.
This game has sucked me in, I'm a huge fan of Horror/gore /suspense and Doom3 is the best fun house of death I've had the pleasure of visiting, I'ts 9:30 monday morning, gorgeous cool but sunny day, I could go to the beach but I'm skipping a staff meeting at work to go to hell.
