There isn't a best party. You need to train your pokemon to have a "best" party. And if you're playing Pok'emon Leafgreen, Charizard is not the best to start with. Unless it is a high level, you will lose to Brock's rock pokemon and Misty's water pokemon. I would normally use Bulbasaur. That way, you would have an advantage. Good luck.
