i'm on the third (i am assuming final) oil platform mission. I destroy the patrol boats, blow the cargo doors, but then when i have to set the charges and blow the actual cargo, i can't find the "hot spot". then i just run out of time trying to run in basically a circle looking for the spot to put the charges. any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

After you blow the hatch off both cargos, you then blow the crap out of the inside. You don't have to set charges for the contents. Just grenade the heck out of the insides or jump in a chopper and go to town.

Yes, quite a good way to "blow the crap" out of the cargo contents. You should just put the "All weapons" cheat in and laugh maniacly while choosing the best weapon for the job

PS:is it impossible to complete the helicopter Recon mission? cuz im gettin angry, I could just get on one of the other helicopters and shoot every hostile troops! AHHHH!, oh wait, DUH!, any way, would it work?

what you do is take off in recon chopper and then switch to a attack chopper and take out the recon points then switch to the recon chopper and recon the points then switch to a attack chopper and kill all the chinese at the base and switch to the recon chopper and land nicely
