i was just wondering if anyone has got it and what they think of it? i think it is an ok game but is not as good as everone says it was gonna be.

I wouldn't say so. Yes, it's an awesome game, but it's not as good as Half-Life.
Oh, and it's a third-person shooter, not first-person...

all of the Half Life games are better. maybe not 1 but... Half Life Source is good.

so pretty much i wrote a bomb review on this game on this site ... (was a pro review) so when it is posted you should definitley check it out i am all for gears so you should have the idea of how i rated it and stuff.

..this game is very very good. I just got my 360 a few days ago, with GOW, and I'm hooked.
..it's a shame work gets in the way of gaming though...stupid work.

Gears of War is an excellent 3rd person shooter, although it is very short, graphics are amazing and chainsawing is quality. Co-op is gd too if u hav m8s lol

Dependant on how good you are, it generally takes around 10 hours.

yeah co-op me and my friend completed it in a day on casual then the next day on hardcore

10 hours is pretty short really, although I've been stuck on the same part for that long!!

I'm currently playing:
I prefer Call of Duty 3. I like realism. And big maps. And different gameplay i.e. you can choose the type of person you are, each type has different weapons and abilities. Not first person to get the sniper wins.

i dnt own a 360 but ive played gow at loads of my friend's houses and its pretty cool but marcus phoenix's voice annoys me so much
gameplay is pretty cool but its annoying at the beginning how it doesnt tell u wut the story is about
