It basically outlines how low the minimum wage is. And people are relying on benefits anyway. Benefits pay much more than the minimum wage anyway. That's a reason why people don't want to work.

only affects the lazy people tho, if you go to college and get soem qualifications instead of p!ssing around you wouldnt be on the minimum wage

Or benefits.
Yes they are useful (well disability living allowance is), they are not there to be abused.

Depending on the amount of people who would agree to (and the quality of said people... Ahem), I would probably pay for use of the servers. As long as it wasn't a bloody subscription, just an initial fee.

OK lets find out then...
a) Who's interested
b) What games do you want these server(s) to run
c) What's a reasonable price to charge for an initial fee.
If we get enough interest we'll do it.

A) Me
B) Half Life,Cs,Halo
C)*thinks* i do not have a clue

a) I'd be interested once I get a new PC.
b) I think maybe a rotation system, so everyone who "subscribes" gets the chance to use it. Say change it every week between the most popular games (CSS, BF2, BF2142, CoD2 MP etc.)
c) Dependant on interested, maybe around £10

a: Me. And my monkey. But mainly me
b: Halo, Quake 4, CS : S, Halo
c: A one off payment of around 10-15 of your fine english pounds would be sweet
On a side-note, if advertised well then this venture could bring in a lot more people to the site, especially if a modding uploads/downloads section is included. Gamestracker - The new IGN??
Edit: Also, i am the self-appointed leader of any GT halo clan. Because i said so. And i pwn.

Yea if you advitise you could make alot of money and bring in many more people to the site. You could do a referals thing where if you get so many people to join you could get summit. Could work very very well.

Thanks to the stupid people at Game, I have the holiday edition of HL2 that does NOT come with CS: Source, instead of the game of the year edition, which does

But I would be prepared to do HL2 online.
EDIT: No worries now, took it back and got the proper one, and can do CS

I've just thought, if the server goes ahead, how will we prevent people from who don't pay for the server from getting in? I mean a password is all well and good but it only takes one idiot to leak and it fills with n00bs!
Of course, we could have the server open to anyone but give donators admin rights. So we could lock to server to donators only during a set time, ban/kick n00bs etc. It's a possible solution and there's probably an even better, more obvious, one that I can't think of right now.

I will certainly want these server(s) to run on FM, because its always CS or BF2...FM could be cool and different!!!

You can't get dedicated servers for FM since it's P2P (i think). Add in that FM online is a joke...
