Well to be honest the PS3 has got its own shooter that will be marked one of the best up to date, Metal gear solid 4: guns of the patriots that games is the PS3's greatest shooter to be just like gears of war is for the xbox 360

I'm currently playing:
depends on what you like in a shooter, if you like games like halo where you jump around lone gunner 'boom headshot' style, you might not like it. killzone is more of a slower squad based shooter . the friendly ai was crap tho hopefully this will be fixed in the new killzone.
i just liked the little things like sprinting and how the grenades/weapons were more reallistic, reloading was always cool. no vehicles tho but theyll prolly be included in the next gen version too. its like this only without the immence explosions and realistic ai. the way the guns operate, also when that guy meles the helgast thats what it like in the old killzone.

If you believe what you see in that trailer, then you're deluding yourself. Notice how Sony always shy away from Killzone whenever anyone mentions it?
