I have had animal crossing for some months now, but
i'm not bored of it yet! but it's lack of challenging things to do makes it rather montonous when playing
in large quantities...

I really think you have been stingy with it's rating.
It's graphics are superb, it has more durability than 10 games put together AND with friends it is a recipe for endlessness in a game...

I would give it 9.4 but... it's not really worth buying if you have the gamecube one (they are virtually identical)

How can you justify rating a game 9.4/10 when you described it as "rather montonous". Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed playing it, but there's nothing really to make me want to go back to it.

Virtually every "event" I've done, so it would just be a case of "been there, done that". Of course, I could go back and earn lots of money to upgrade my house, find all the remaining fossils, insects and fish, but then it would quickly bulr the line between game and chore.

If Nintendo decided to pump new content into it via the Wi-Fi connection, I'd probably be more willing to play it some more, but sadly I don't see that happening. Maybe for the Wii version.

I played it for a while, but found the same thing as gas above. I had done pretty much every thing, so I don't see the point in going back to it.

Also like gas said, lets hope the Wii version (they will make one eventually)will do well. Hopefully, ES will make Wii Sims online too.
