Darius is freaking hard

man, i could not beat him in canyon duel, its insane, i evn have a SLR McLaren and he still wipes me out. i'd put this in ps3 forums but the ps2 version is the same.
anyways, anyone got any tips? his goons are easy and so is his circut race, its just his canyon duel that gets me, i either lose by points loss or i slide off the canyon. like what is he driving? an over-stat, over-upgraded audi??

The big difference is that he doesn't make any mistakes... U got to try to get in his tail and hope for him to make an error. If u can finish the 1st race close enough I'll get enough points to get u in the 2nd race more or less at ease. In the 2nd race U just need to make sure he doesn't pass u and from time to time try that he hits u (that way he will loose points).
