when redd visits your town you need to be come one of his members then you can buy paintings from his tent, but be careful he does sell counterfit ones.

Become a member with redd( the guy in the tent who comes once a week) and sometimes he will have a painting, this will be alot, but ocassionaly you can get one from tom nook's shop for cheaper, but very rairely. Sometimes your pics from redd can be fraud, but the guy who comes to ask if you want insurence will give you the option one time to get a certain insurance that will pay you the money of the fraud pic.

actually, he always gives you fraud ones... you need to see if ton nook has 1 every day... i got 4 in there already
