A technique in a player can be shown in 720p and 1080i, 1080i is going to be more realistic, meaning the gameplay will be more realistic..
Graphics are a HUUGGEEE part of games these days, and Fifa will be the begining of the end for the Wii.

and tom (i wrote tom sadw u happy now) y would u care about graphic in a football game it would make no different to how the game played

im sorry but i have have to disagree
i remember the good ol sega...
there was a game called "Fifa International Soccer"
crap graphics and unlicensed names yeah...
but the game was INCREDIBLY fun to play..
now all i see with great graphics is "WOW LOOK AT THAT IT LOOKS SO REAL" - but the ACTUAL GAMEPLAY that the game delivers could be CRAP! - if the gameplay was brilliant then yeah i might say a different story but.. we will see...
plus, the main part of the Wii's Fifa 08, wont look too different than the current PS2 versions of Fifa - its just the mini-games thats making it look very cartoony
and who the hell cares if its in 720p or 1080i

Simple as, if Fifa had bad graphics, i wouldn't buy it.
And Dave, yeh we are moving on, for sure, Fifa international soccer was fun back then, we didn't know any better, if someone offered me fifa 08, or FIS i know what i'd take..

yeh i agree good graphcis dont equal good gameplay.
The ds graphics are crap compared to the psp yet the gameplay is better on the ds (apparently, but lets not start this up again

Me, I'm all about gameplay. For me if you offered me any iteration of the Mariokart franchise, I would pick the N64 version, because I personally believe that is the better game. And also my favourite game of all time is on the SNES.

Yeh but Mario games havn't really "Come on" have they..

I mean, my favourite game EVER is Goldeneye on N64, sure it had amazing graphics at the time, and now their crap lol, but i liked it cause of gameplay, but thats a classic IMO, if it were released now, i'd go for a title with better graphics.

so your saying you'll pefur the port of 360 verison than the wii that could be better (not saying that it is better just saying that it could be) just because it as slighty better graphics what r u a stupid i buy the best verison no matter what it's on
and i'm laughing at PS3 fans as we're getting the same game but with more stuff and its cheaper
