So i can play some of the old stuff, cool. My 64 has decided to stop working for some reason lately, damn thing. It's pushing 9 years old now, maybe thats why.
Well I'll have a look at metroid, could be fun controlling it some how. I had a peek at my Wii this morning (shh) and checked out the controllers. The Nun chuck seems very fragile. I'm afraid I'll break it. I guess I'm just used to the bulky controllers.
I'll start stocking up on games now. Next Wednesday I'm buying LoZ Phantom hourglass and Pokemon Diamond for my brother, and it's a "buy 2 get one free" sale. So now I just have to choose a Wii game. Prolly Twilight Princess if theres any left
Thanks for the info Malky ^^
Just one more question, does it matter which controller you hold in which hand? Like is the Nunchuck supposed to be in you right hand? Or does it not matter?
Edit: Just checked out the trailers of Metroid Prime 3. Reminds me of the old Duke Nukem games. Much better graphics though.
Edit Edit: Samus is a girl?!?

Lol, yeah My N64s on its last legs too, and the good thing is the Wii Shop channel adds about 3 games a week to the channel so there's always something new. There are some real classics already on there too.
I've never had issues with the Nunchuk or the Wii Remote (just remember to wear that wrist strap

) and I've been thrashing mine around for a year now so I wouldn't worry about it breaking. There's certainly been no reports of them breaking anyhoo.
Blatantly steal LoZ: Phantom Hourglass from your brother - its an excellent game. The best game I've played that makes use of the DS stylus. Plus y'know - its Zelda

And trust me you'll love Twilight Princess.
With regard to holding the controller, it was designed to be held with the Wii Remote in the right hand and the Nunchuk in the left hand. That way the analog stick of the Nunchuk is still being controlled by the left hand like it would be on normal controllers. For games where you only use the Wii Remote though, you can specify (where it matters) whether you are left handed or right handed with the remote. This is handy for things like Wii Sports because it means if you play tennis left handed in real life, you can in the game too.
Samus Aran of Metroid fame is indeed female. Girl Power! She's a female bounty hunter for hire who likes to kill Space Pirates (which sadly look nothing like pirates as we know it) and save the world.
