i use IMTOO mpeg encoder. search DOWNLOAD.COM for it.
the only fault is that the trial version limits songs to 5 minutse which doesn't affect too many songs.

It only takes 1 tree, to make a thousand matches,
only takes one match to burn a thousand trees.

i have itunes but it never saves the songs to MP3, it always saves to ACC
so i use the switch file converter...its really good and lets me add songs to PSP with ease...

If you connect your psp to your computer by usb and then create a music folder in the psp folder and then put mp3 tracks in to their its easier than buying the software the other guys were going on about. PS:this is only for windows.

i got a mac and a pc and doing that works fine on both! but i agree dont go buy stuff just download itunes and go into prefrences and change so that when u upload a cd it changes it to mp3 and then u can take them right from itunes and put them onto ur psp when u make a music folder. easy peasy!

this can only be done once you have formatted your memory stick. once that is done and you have plugged in the usb cable into the psp and computer you go to usb mode and then send the files. note only mp3 format songs will play on the psp

I didn't format my memory stick...this is what I did.
I plugged in my PSP to my computer using the USB Cable that comes with it, I then opened it up to see all the files and sh*t the PSP currently had on the Memory Disk. I made a folder named 'Music', I then opened up my file containing all my MP3's, copied the ones I wanted then pasted them into the 'Music' file in the PSP...
...that worked for me, I don't anything about all this IMTOO stuff.
