Konami Arcade Classics (DS)

Retro Gaming finally arrives in style on the DS as Konami brings 15 classic arcade titles from its extensive back catalogue in a compilation that will have all gaming enthusiasts foaming at the mouth. Just a few of the titles within the collection includes famous titles like Time Pilot, Rush 'n Attack and Yie Ar Kung-Fu, some genuine classic games like Gradius, International Track & Field and Contra.

All of the titles are presented exactly as they appeared in arcades and in keeping with the original ethic of these games it's the high scores that matter so the game automatically stores all of your best scores at the end of a session. The developers have added a huge amount of customisable options for gamers too, with the ability to completely change all of the controls, toggle the auto-fire (handy for Track and Field cheats) and best of all, switch between viewing modes so you can tilt your DS onto its side and play the games in their original 'tall' arcade settings.

There is a host of two player options so co-operative Track and Field, Contra and alternative multiplayer titles can be yours, as well as other local network features for link up DS play. There's even an option to record your games and show them off to friends!
