Manufacturers Description
You may have thought that puzzle games were reasonably difficult on some of the older 2D gaming platforms, but when you add a third dimension things become a lot more complicated. One of the few available 3D puzzlers to date is a tricky little game called Kula World PS1. Get out the headache pills ‘cos this one’s a thinker.
Taking control of a beach-like ball, the basic objective of Kula World PS1 is to progress through a set of labyrinths by finding the keys to the exits. Sounds simple, but playing areasare spread across 3D paths, on which all sides can be travelled across. Increasing the game’s challenge even further are a variety of danger-ridden obstacles and traps. Since the learning curve of Kula World PS1 gets progressively steeper, you must quickly learn to use all sides of the maze and jump across unavoidable areas. There are a whopping 200 levels in all that take place across pointless, but nice looking locations. There are also collectibles available in the form of crystals and fruit that can lead to bizarre bonus levels. Game controls are uncomplicated and easy to master, giving the developers the opportunity to make the game more challenging without making it too frustrating. However, many of the game levels are a question of trial and error, since invisible platforms among other things are introduced at some of Kula World PS1’s later stages.
At its very least, Kula World PS1 will prove to be a huge challenge for many puzzle game players. Beware, Kula World PS1 could fry your brains.
