the sims two on playstation portable (psp)
gameplay:
compared to the sims games on playstion two and computer this game is great unlike the other two this is a game were you see through the characters eyes this gives a whole new aspect to the game which is an excellent addition. throughout the game there is plenty of oppertunitys to find love or friends but mostly you should stick to your missions and keep up the mood gauge because if your character gets to low on his mood he will black out and lose all of the sanity points you have worked hard to earn. when you first start it is best to stay away from the music room and master bedroom in your house until you have got rid of the ghosts that insist on scaring you every time you step into the rooms and this looses you valuble sanity points and so until you have finished the ghosts unfinished business it is best to design your life around the house without the use of those two room the music room and master bedroom. unless you intend on fainting from fear straight away.
idea of the game :
the idea behind the sims two on playstation portable is to get as many friends as possible and find out secrets about them. the store of secrets you build up is a reserve if you will to get money as you can sellvarious secrets to various different people however if you sell a deep dark secret then that person who the secret is about will hate you so be careful in your decisions. however selling secrets that you find around strangetown - the town you live in is great because these sell for around two hundred and fiftey punds each secret. personaly i have found 27 of these so far and still plan on finding more.
difficulty:
this game has a 3+ age rating on it yet i struggle to see how any normal 3 year old could figure out any way to play on it because it is a very challenging game at the best of times. it took me around 2 months to complete altogether adding all the days i have spent on it together. though it isnt the kind of game you can play again and again because once youve completed it the first time it is much easier the second time as you know were everything is and how to do everything and all the tricks and tips and ins and outs of the game. but this being the onli bad thing about the game i think it is well worth buying.
personal oppinion:
personally my opinion on this game is that it is very good but if your one of those people who like value for money and like to play a game over and over again this game is probably not for you as you only get one good game out of it. not like the sims games for other consoles were you can live the lives of 20 + people at once and still get a certain amount of entertainment value from it. i loved the game yet decided that i had finished and completed the game and so traded it in for championship manager two thousand and six. yet i found that the sims 2 was a much better game as i already have football manager 2006 and the two are very similar - football manager and championship manager. so in conclusion if you like games that make you think and that you can get a gd two months out of but thats about it then the sims two on playstation portable is the one for you. if not then im sorry but ul have to stick to less entertaining games.
